Job Overview (Synopsys Off Campus Drive 2022):
Roles and Responsibility :
- A person in the position would be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging and maintaining large and efficient software systems for partitioning, logic, timing optimization, technology mapping steps of the FPGA prototyping software.
- The person is expected to
- Given a requirement or functional specification, design and implement efficient data structures and algorithms in C/C++.
- Work with AE team in test planning, execution and customer support.
- Maintain and support existing product and features.
Skills Required for Synopsys Jobs 2022 :
- Enrolled in Electrical Engineering program and have basic knowledge about analog circuitry designs such as bandgap, opamp, PLL
- Experience writing scripts in languages such as Perl, Python and Unix shell. The ideal candidate would be familiar with Verilog and System Verilog
Preferred Experience
- Managing team, making project plans, tracking it, addressing dependencies, status reporting
- modifying/using the existing UVM and VMM SystemVerilog testbenches to co-simulate mixed signal designs
- analyzing/verifying the functionalities of SERDES
- Defining and tracking verification testplans
- Debugging simulation failures in both analog and digital domains
- Creating top level analog testbenches for SERDES
- Performing physic layout reliability analysis for SERDES
