• Work with supervisor to identify gaps in skills

• Responsible for both front end and back end application development
• Involve in all phases of Software development life cycle (from conception, design, development to deployment and support)
• Learn to design, code, debug and document software/application
• Deploy and maintain Applications/Systems
• Stay abreast of developments in related technologies

Desirable:

• Experience in working with Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Working knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jenkins, etc.
• Strong expertise in server-side technologies such as Python, Ruby, etc
• Knowledge in configuration tools such as Chef, Puppet, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Access. Google Suite; Slides, Sheets and Docs
• Must be cross-functional, self-sufficient, self-organized
• Should have excellent team skills that can help them collaborate and work with other team members.
• Collaborate with other developers across regions, clients, managers and information architects to determine system requirements, deliverables, and project milestones
• Flexible accommodations of working with colleagues in different time zones

Preferred Skill exposure:

• APIs such as REST and SOAP, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GIT, etc.,
• technologies such as AWS, Azure, etc.
• Javascript, UI/UX (HTML5, CSS, JQuery), Node, Python, C, C++, SQL/No SQL DB , Build tools such as Maven, gradle, ant; version control system such as Git hub, svn.
• such as DB2 SQL. QlikSense, QlikView, COBOL, JCL, CICS & IMS. Jira, Trello, Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
