Gather Performance Testing Requirements
Understanding the non-functional requirements from business requirements
Proficient in different types of performance testing (Stress, Volume, Load, etc.) to align the business requirements in Performance test models.
Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability
Work with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases
Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
Team Player, Mature enough to work in collaboration across multiple teams
Can groom other new team members on similar mindsets
Experience in identifying bottlenecks and performance tuning
Very good debugging capabilities
Open to open source community
Should be able to gather metrics to benchmark applications performance for reference
Track/monitor risks and communicate them to the team in a timely fashion
Should be motivated and self driven

Hands on experience in any of the performance testing tools like locust / Jmeter / K6 / RPT / LoadRunner / Performance Center / NeoLoad / similar tools
Good understanding of protocols of HTTP/HTML, Web Services
Experience working in a DevOps environment
Experience in API testing
Profiling will be an added advantage
Experience in preparing the scenarios
Experience with Continuous integration with Performance Testing
Excellent analytical skills to dig deep in performance issues at various levels including DB, Application, infrastructure.
Identify both hardware and code-level fine issues to the Dev/Devops team
