Job Overview (Genesys Off Campus Drive 2021):

• As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of components and services used to deliver mission-critical platform features. You will work in a fast-paced, startup culture, where our environment is one of continuous change, innovation and experimentation. You will work with established and cutting-edge technologies like Java, Spring framework, JavaScript, and various AWS Services to build on our product in Cloud architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely and collaboratively with team members.
• Demonstrate a high level of curiosity and keep up to date on the latest technologies.
• Strive for excellence in the features they deliver.
• Solve Problem solving

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Design new software features through agile development practices.
• Implement new features, work with support services to fix any issues found in the field and monitor platform components.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• See features through deployment into production.
• Adhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

Skills Required:

• 1-2 Experience with software engineering in Java.
• Experience with Sprig framework & developing REST APIs.
• Experience with Maven build.
• Worked in one or more application servers like Tomcat, Jetty, or JBoss.
• AWS Cloud Technology.
• Worked in Fast paced environment delivery features in CI/CD process.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
