Job Overview (Dell India Off Campus Drive):
- We are looking for candidates who have a background in implementing test procedures and strategies, creating test plans and working with the broader team including core development and product management to ensure delivery of complete automated test coverage of cloud-based microservices with UI elements. We are looking for highly motivated, goal-oriented individuals who will be responsible for developing test automation that meets our business needs.
- This individual will participate in detailed test planning with their lead to ensure complete automated test coverage. Individual should have basic knowledge of the functional aspect of cloud-based microservices and SaaS applications.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare for and participate in Sprint planning meetings
- Create test strategies, design test suites, including individual test cases
- Create and utilize local test environments for automation development
- Design, develop and maintain automated tests in support of product validation
- Submit and track defects from creation through closure
- Collaboration with Core Developers, SRE’s, Product Owners & Project Managers ensuring on-time product delivery
Skills Required for Dell Jobs 2021 :
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- 1 year of software test development experience preferred
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodology
- Project and task oriented with a focus on detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must work well within a small development team and adapt to existing programming standards
- Will develop new code as well as maintain/enhance existing test automation
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with Karate Automation Framework
- Experience with API and Web UI test automation
- Also Experience with Gherkin or Cucumber helpful
- JavaScript experience helpful
- Java experience helpful
- Maven experience a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Jenkins, Docker and/or Kubernetes a plus
- Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence
- Knowledge of software security design and technologies helpful
- Candidates should be excellent team players, yet capable of working independently, and should be able to manage multiple projects at once
