Job Overview (Boeing Off Campus Drive For 2022 Batch)
Position Responsibilities:
- The Backend Developer will be part of the Tier 3 Application support group
- This position will participate in the requirements development, design, implementation, and test & acceptance phases of project life cycles related to trainer modifications
- More specifically, this position will be responsible for requirement verification to include evaluation of System Requirements Specification (SRS) artifacts and other development products (design, implementation) against the specification, and to verify that the requirements are well written and testable
- Plan, design and develop the tests, control test execution including time and resource planning
- Create detailed error and final reports and communicate the results to the various departments
- Participation in integration and test discussions with the project team
- Configuration Control of the installed software
- Troubleshooting projects will be required. Typically, this would involve recreating reported scenarios and determining a root cause for customer concerns
- Troubleshoot or escalate issues as appropriate, in a timely manner ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the cycle of support, providing end-user assistance where required until the issue has been resolved
- Work independently, handle multiple priorities, and demonstrate sound judgment within established policies and guidelines
- Use data analytics systems to query error reporting tools. Proactively find problems users are experiencing and suggest configuration changes to prevent further occurrences
- Provide engaging, informative, well-organized evidential feedback where required
Skills Required For Boeing Careers 2022
- Technical Bachelor’s degree or Master degree
- Troubleshooting, problem solving, written and oral communication skills are required.
- Willingness to own and build the next generation of training solutions in the Maintenance and Flight training realm
- Back end Languages / Management of Simulation Framework / Azure Services/ Media Integration will be an added advantage
- Strong DSA skills
- Programming languages: C#, Python
- Proficient in version control systems like Git/ GitHub / GitLab.
- Knowledge about some popular Databases like MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
- Experience in using .Net Core, Azure Cosmos DB and other Azure functions
- Knowledge of Rest API
Testing skills
- Well versed with QA process
- Impact Analysis
- Requirement analysis
- Manual testing for web application and iPad app
- Test case development and verification
- Test result validation
- Rational in taking final decision on test result
- Regression Testing
- Test automation using Selenium with test scripting language (preferably Core Java)
- Knowledge on Postman tool for API verification
- Basic awareness of JIRA
Desired Skills:
- Experience with in Aerospace/Aviation industries would be an added advantage
